Key Stage 1 comprises of children in Year 1 and 2. At Westmoor, we are a one and a half form entry school and we therefore have 3 classes in KS1; Oak, Maple and Beech class. Oak is a pure year 1 class. Maple is a mixed year 1 and 2 class. Beech is a pure year 2 class. All children receive their year group curriculum entitlement, regardless which class they are in.
