School Uniform

“The Government strongly encourages schools to consider the introduction of uniforms where they do not already have them.” DfES 2006 Admission Policy.

Non PE days

Our school has an official uniform, which consists of royal blue sweatshirts or cardigans, white polo shirt with either grey or black skirts or trousers.

Westmoor Primary sweatshirts, cardigans, polo-shirts, jackets, and book bags (Reception Only)  can be ordered from Emblematic, embroidered with the school logo.

Visit the Emblematic website www.emblematic.co.uk or click the button above to be taken directly to our section on their website.

To contact Emblematic call 0191 2701449

Alternatively you can visit their site at:
Unit 26 North Tyne Industrial Estate, Benton, Newcastle Upon Tyne NE12 9SZ.

Open Monday to Friday 10am - 5pm. They also offer extended opening hours during the summer months (Saturdays 10am to 4pm, June-September Only)

Emblematic are also happy to take old uniforms at their drop off point located in their car park for re-use/recycling.

PE Days

On PE days, pupils are to attend school wearing PE kit. Our PE kit consists of a Westmoor Primary royal blue t-shirt  and royal or black plain shorts and black gym shoes for indoor lessons. A Westmoor Primary hoodie with plain black tracksuit bottoms and trainers for outdoor lessons. The Westmoor hoodie and T-shirt are available from Emblematic as above.

Uniform items can also be sourced from many high street retailers including supermarkets and these are perfectly acceptable. Alternatively, we also encourage parents and carers to pass on preloved uniforms to other families within our school. A limited selection of preloved items is available from school. Please make enquiries via the school office.

In the interest of safety, no jewellery other than analogue  watches should be worn in school. If children do have pierced ears, a small stud may be worn but must be removed for PE lessons. No responsibility can be taken by the school for pupil’s safety in respect of studs.

(School recommends that ear-rings should not be worn at all).
